Are you ready for the Thrill of Victory or Hillarity of Defeat?  Get your team of 5 together now for Freedom Festival's Office Olympiad.  Challenging little competitions will test your office survival skills, and they'll create tons of laughter and camaraderie.

Sure, we'll have the usual coffee cup race and office chair race, but we'll really test your skills with a few other challenging office tasks!  Area-wide teams are ecouraged to enter.

Entry forms are available at the Freedom Festival office, or will be accepted the day of the event.

UPDATE INFO

Just a quick event update from Freedom Festival concerning tomorrow’s Office Olympiad –

 

Freedom Festival Office Olympiad, which is sponsored by Skogman Companies and StratosFour, plus media partner KHAK,  is scheduled for tomorrow (June 23)  from Noon to 3 PM in Greene Square Park.  Weather-permitting the event will be held in Greene Square Park.  Should we encounter additional aquatic or aquatic-related events (including rain, thunderstorms, high winds, etc) all events will be moved to an indoor location. 

 

Armstrong Development Company has graciously accepted our request to move the event into the Lobby area of the Armstrong Center at 222 3^rd Av SE should the weather threaten the event.  Food and beverages will be available at both sites from Papa John’s Pizza, and additionally from the Center’s Food Court should the event be forced inside.

 

Freedom Festival’s outstanding interns – Brandon Busbee, Megan Fiala and Jillian Jorgensen – have been hard at work creating several fun and hilarious challenges for our Office Olympians.  The event, in its second year, promises to be a laugh-a-minute for everyone.  Seven teams have entered the competition and additional teams will be accepted the day of the event – space permitting.  And, best of all, there is no cost to watch this hilarious exercise in the Thrill of Victory or Hilarity of Defeat.  Pre-event warm-up exercises – lasting 15 seconds – will be led by Freedom Festival executive director, Janet Wilhelm.

 

Closing and awards ceremonies will be held after the event at DC’s Riverwalk Pub & Eatery at 401 1^st St. SE.
