C’mon, it’s the weekend. It’s time for big hair, leg warmers, headbands, parachute pants and hot Rock & Roll! Relive the rockin’ ‘80s during this year’s Freedom Festival Classic Rock Concert Night & Rockin’ the ‘80s Party. If you’ve been “Working for the Weekend,” cried “Turn Me Loose” and “Take Me to the Top,” and you’re ready to “Jump,” then you’re ready to party and shake it with your friends at our “Rockin’ the ‘80s” night featuring the ‘80’s rock band sensation Loverboy. This concert won’t be “Almost Paradise,” it will be paradise, in fact, it’ll be “Heaven in your Eyes.” Opening for Loverboy will be the skyrocketing band Arch Allies and their performances of songs by Journey, Styx, and REO. In 1980 Loverboy introduced themselves to the world with their self-titled debut album. They quickly became one of America’s and MTV’s most popular rock bands. From 1980 through 1987 Loverboy garnered four multi-Platinum albums and numerous international Gold albums. Loverboy’s red leather pants, bandannas, and big rock sound defined the band’s trademark image and high-energy live show.
