Freedom Festival issues call for entries
for Freedom Festival 2011 festival artwork
Cedar Rapids, IA – April 6, 2010 – Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival issued a call to Iowa artists for entries in its logo artwork competition for Freedom Festival 2011. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and reside in the state of Iowa at the time of the competition.
Entries and entry forms must be received at the Freedom Festival office no later than 5 pm, Friday, June 4, 2010.
Artwork must embody the spirit of the 4th of July celebration. The winning entry will become the visual identification or logo for Freedom Festival 2011 buttons, cups, brochures and other promotional materials.
The winning artist will receive a cash award of $500. Entry forms and competition guidelines are available at the Freedom Festival office, or can be downloaded from the Festival’s website at www.freedomfestival.com/Content/Freedom-Festival/About/Contests/Artwork-Competition.aspx .
