Great Cardboard Boat Regatta cardboard available

Cardboard now available for constructing
Great Cardboard Boat Regatta® entries

    Cedar Rapids, IA – May 22, 2008 – Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival announced today that free cardboard and entry forms are available in the Midwest 3PL parking lot, 308 29th Street NE for hearty mariners ready to get started on their cardboard boat for this year’s Great Cardboard Boat Regatta.
    The CRST trailer containing the free cardboard and entry forms is parked directly inside the parking lot entrance with its doors open and accessible 24-hours a day. Individuals are encouraged to bring their own stepladder for easier access into the truck.
    The Great Cardboard Boat Regatta® and cardboard for the boats are once again sponsored by Weyerhaeuser and Cedar River Paper Co. The regatta will be held June 29 at Robbins Lake.
    Dates for this year’s Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival are June 19-July 4, 2008.
