“Producing Freedom Festival 2008 has been a challenge, but nothing compared to the catastrophic losses incurred by many in the community. Celebration of Community will focus on the efforts of the entire community as it continues to recover and heal from the recent flood,” explained Russ Oviatt, Freedom Festival operations director.   “We also want to take the opportunity it presents to extend thanks to those who have worked tirelessly to relieve the pain and grief caused by the flood.

“We are also pleased to announce that the dates for Freedom Festival 2009 are June 18 through July 4,” Oviatt added.
