Freedom Festival Board of Directors
elects FY’ 2011 Executive Committee and welcomes 8 new Board members
Cedar Rapids, IA (October 8, 2010) At its annual meeting October 7, 2010 the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival Board of Directors elected its Executive Committee for FY’ 2011. The committee is comprised of: President, Mark Hixson, Business Solutions Group, Inc.; VP/President Elect, Erika Elles, Cargill, Inc.; Secretary, Renee Nelson, NextEra Energy Duane Arnold; and, Treasurer, Diane Kula, CPA, Latta, Harris, Hanon & Penningroth, LLP.
New members joining the Freedom Festival Board of Directors included: Travis Christopher, Hawkeye Area Council of Boy Scouts of America; Suzanne Keeling, GE Capital; John Kennedy, Farm Credit Services of America; Dr. Calla Jayne Kleene, Back In Line; Melanie Richert, Rockwell Collins; Mark Steffens, Intermec Technologies; Tom Slattery, Jr., Heritage Associates Corporation; and, Eric Weiler, Kirkwood Community College Foundation.
