Registration is NOW OPEN for the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival Parade–returning to Downtown Cedar Rapids on June 25th, 2022!
This year’s theme will be “Stars & Stripes Forever”! If you are interested in participating in our parade, please click the link below!
Entry fees:
Military: FREE with code “freemil”
Non-Profit: $35
Business/Commercial: $60
Political: $85

Parade winners will be announced at Greene Square immediately following the parade (this is also where IMAGINATION! Square by Tanager Place will be held from 11 – 2 PM!)

Welcome

Each year thousands of Eastern Iowa residents and visitors join together to celebrate our nation’s birthday by enjoying the many events and activities of the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival. More than 400,000 area residents and visitors attend the Freedom Festival each year. The Freedom Festival begins in June and culminates with the annual Celebration of Freedom Fireworks on July 4th.
