Indian Creek Nature Center is hosting our first ever BioBlitz, June 25 – July 1, as part of our yearlong celebration of our 50th anniversary. Bring your family and friends and join the Nature Center and scientific professionals as a citizen scientist in recording biodiversity across Indian Creek Nature Center’s 200+ acres of grounds and trails.
Staff will be on site from 8AM to 8PM every day of the BioBlitz to answer your questions and direct you to the best places to discover new species. Help us to observe as many species as possible and explore our wetlands, prairies and woodlands. Your discoveries will be extremely beneficial to the future of these protected habitats, as it will support the Nature Center’s ability to properly plan for future educational programs and land management decisions.
