Forrest Moore

Forrest Newton Gordon Moore served the US ARMY 1993-2013. He attained the rank of Sergeant First Class on his tenth year of service, then going on to become a commissioned officer in Field Artillery before retiring from the US ARMY as a Captain. He is a Bronze Star Recipient while serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as the Meritorious Service Metal, five Army Commendation Medals, four Army Achievement medals, four Army good conduct medals, two National Defense Service medals, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, three NCO Professional Development awards, Army Service Ribbon, Three Overseas Service Ribbons, the Gold Recruiter Badge, and the Recruiter’s Ring. He has been stationed in Fort Richardson, Alaska, achieving Soldier of the Post, Hanau, Germany, Camp Bucca, Iraq, South Des Moines Recruiting Station, IA, Fort Riley, KS, Fort Sill, OK, and Waterloo Recruiting Company, IA as well as training in various locations CONUS and OCONUS. He is married to his wife Michelle R. (Hall) Moore, son Forrest M. Moore, and daughter Marissa R. (Moore) Broxey who accompanied him and supported his service at these locations.
