Kenneth Bullerman

Kenneth was drafted into the US Army and served from April of 1968 to March of 1970. He was stationed stateside at Fort Bliss, TX, Fort Sill, OK and Fort Lewis, WA. Kenneth served one year in South Vietnam where he was wounded in action in April of 1969. He achieved the rank of Specialist, 4th Class. Commendations include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Purple Heart/Vietnam Service Medal with Three Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Civil Action Honor Medal, and First Class Unit Citation. After completing his tour of duty, he returned to Iowa where he farmed the family’s heritage farm for 46 years before retiring in 2019, and still helps with the family farming operations.
