MARINE CORPS
1999 - 2003

Sergeant Cory Pfab is a native of Cascade, Iowa, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in December 1999.  He graduated boot camp at MCRD San Diego, California, and Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, California.  Sgt Pfab trained as an Engineer Technician at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and was later stationed at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.  He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with 8th Engineer Support Battalion as a member of the Security Platoon and was honorably discharged in December 2003. Following his enlistment, Sgt Pfab moved to Cedar Rapids to attend college.  While in college, he re-enlisted in the Army Reserves in 2005.  He served in the 95th Training Division at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and was honorably discharged in 2011.  Cory continues to live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his family.
